Job Description:

This role will be the S4 HANA Technical Expert for General Accounting and the Period Close process within Mars for the Development and Deployment of our S4 HANA global landscape. This role will the expected to have S4 HANA hands on knowledge along with development and deployment experience in the area of General Accounting and the Period Close. This role is also expected to bring the newest technology innovations from SAP to be incorporated in the system and process design.

What are we looking for?

  • Must have hands-on experience with the design and build of the General Accounting and the Period Close area within the S4 HANA platform.

  • Must have experience with large S4 HANA deployments within the S4 HANA General Accounting and the Period Close area.

  • Must have experience with global design and implementation projects with General Accounting and the Period Close area for S4 HANA.

  • Must be able to configure and develop S4 HANA for General Accounting and the Period Close area.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • S4 SAP Technical Expertise: Oversee the design, development, and implementation of financial solutions that align with business requirements and industry standards.

  • Template Design: Collaborate with third-party partners, cross-functional teams, and other finance teams, including edge teams, to design and build an S4 HANA shared template for all of Mars Inc.'s businesses.

  • Technical Documentation Review: Review, provide feedback, and sign off on all technical documentation (CRD, CSD, FSD, FUT, etc.) to ensure accuracy and completeness, as well as ensure adherence to best practices.

  • Testing and Defect Resolution Support: Oversee testing processes by reviewing test plans, scripts, and results. Assist with defect resolution and approving solutions for defect closure.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all locations listed within the job posting:USD 52,105.00 - USD 71,643.00
