SAP Technical Architect (SAP CFIN e PAPM) | hybrid | Guararema

The SAP Technical Architect (SAP CFIN e PAPM) will serve as the focal point for all technical matters related to architecture, performance, interfaces, integrations, security & compliance, technical product upgrades and notes, security and system patching, disaster recovery, backup and other technical aspects of SAP Central Finance (CFIN) and SAP PaPM solutions. This role is designed to ensure the system's technical integrity to standards, security, compliance, performance, and documentation of the landscape, while leading technical initiatives related to technical automation, monitoring, disaster recovery, backups, archiving, patching, ITGC, and technical processes improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Focal Point: Act as the primary technical contact for SAP CFIN and PaPM architecture-related topics, ensuring technical stability and continuous improvements.

  • Landscape Management: Oversee the entire system landscape, including environments, infrastructure, performance optimization, and capacity planning.

  • Technical Documentation & Interfaces: Maintain and update all technical documentation related to system architecture, integrations, and interdependencies.

  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Continuously track system performance, capacity, and efficiency, proactively addressing any degradation risks.

  • Security & Compliance: Ensure technical compliance with IT security standards, audits, and data protection regulations, including approval of fire-fighter, role adjustments, and patching updates.

  • Automation & Monitoring: Lead the implementation of automated technical monitoring to proactively detect issues and improve system resilience through automation.

  • Technical Change Management: Review SAP notes to approve and oversee all technical changes, ensuring proper governance and minimal disruption to operations.

  • Technical Risk & Disaster Recovery Management: Own and manage disaster recovery plans, ensuring backup and restoration strategies align with business continuity goals.

  • Archiving & Data Lifecycle Management: Define and execute archiving strategies, ensuring optimal data retention policies and compliance with business needs.

  • Backup Process Coordination: Oversee backup strategies in collaboration with infrastructure and platform operations teams, ensuring data integrity and recoverability.

  • New Project Engagements: Act as the technical architecture advisor for new projects and enhancements, ensuring system scalability, security, and best architectural practices.

  • Collaboration with Business & IT Teams: Work closely with functional teams, business users, and IT partners to provide technical guidance and support.

Experience:

  • Proven experience managing SAP technical landscapes (including ECC and S4), experience with CFIN and PaPM products is a plus.

  • Proven experience in technical architecture and SAP Basis knowledge, monitoring, and automation.

  • Experience leading compliance and technical security initiatives within industry standards.

Technical Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience working with SAP technical architecture, infrastructure, and performance optimization following industry standards.

  • Strong background in SAP ECC and S4, Basis administration, and technical landscape management.

  • Desired experience in SAP finance areas (FI/CO) or CFIN/PaPM.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP integrations, data flow, backup/recovery, and archiving processes.

  • Knowledge of IT security standards, compliance frameworks, and audit procedures.

  • Expertise in technical performance monitoring and capacity planning.

Social Skills:

  • Strong communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to lead technical efforts within multidisciplinary teams.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership without technical language (adaptive).
