Royal Canin’s Functional Complements Centre of Expertise (COE) is a newly created global unit dedicated to building and scaling health‑driven categories such as Treats and Supplements. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape new categories, define the activation strategies for mature and emerging regions, and drive impactful growth in pet health nutrition.
You will work in a business unit that is built on operating at pace, in a highly dynamic and evolving environment. Europe and RGM (Rapid Growth Markets) represent an exciting opportunity for growth within our long-term ambitions. As Functional Complements Marketing Manager, you will lead the development and execution of marketing and demand creation strategies for our portfolio within these regions. To successfully build this category, we must define clear launch models, activation standards and sufficient execution across channels (online and offline), ensuring strong alignment between global frameworks and regional execution. Reporting to the Head of Global Activation & Category Growth, you will:

Shape and deploy regional growth strategies across Europe and selected emerging markets, owning portfolio performance

Drive awareness, recommendation and conversion in an omnichannel environment (B2B and B2B2C)

Influence senior stakeholders to secure long-term investment and embed the portfolio into strategic health platforms
This is a highly visible and complex role requiring strong strategic thinking, stakeholder influence and comfort navigating ambiguity, in an evolving business.
What are we looking for?

You bring a solid academic background in Marketing, Business, Sales, Finance or a related field, combined with at least 4 years of experience in brand management, innovation and strategic marketing.

You have successfully designed and delivered growth strategies and activation plans that drove measurable business impact.

You have mandatory experience operating at regional or multi-market level, with proven ability to navigate different market dynamics, cultural contexts and levels of business maturity.

You influence senior stakeholders with credibility, clarity and strong interpersonal skills, building alignment and driving decisions.

You combine analytical rigor with commercial instinct,translating insights into actionable strategies that accelerate performance.
-
You demonstrate ownership, agility and resilience, thriving in fast-paced and evolving environments.

You communicate fluently in English and are comfortable representing your strategy in international settings.
What will be your key responsibilities?
You will co-lead and execute the European and Rapid Growth Markets (RGM) marketing and demand creation strategy for the Functional Complements portfolio, ensuring successful deployment of new launches while strengthening existing ones.

Strategic Portfolio & Growth Shaping:

Partner with Global and Regional Innovation teams to ensure the portfolio reflects regional market needs and insights

Leverage consumer and shopper insights, category data and competitive analysis to refine the product proposition

Act as the regional voice in shaping the evolution of the portfolio

Demand Creation & Activation Excellence:

Develop and deploy best-in-class activation roadmaps for Supplements, Treats and related products

Lead cross-functional collaboration with CMI, Brand Communications, Digital & E-commerce, Sales and Regulatory teams

Drive shopper research initiatives to convert insights into tangible commercial levers
-
Define sampling, promotional and conversion tools tailored to omnichannel needs
-
Support visibility initiatives at key regional events (e.g., industry fairs and trade shows)
-
Shape merchandising and digital execution standards with strong local relevance

Stakeholder & Governance Leadership:

Act as the main point of contact for the COE across Europe and RGM

Build strong partnerships with local business units and ensure alignment with global frameworks

Ensure all activities comply with internal processes, regulatory requirements and governance standards
