About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who combines strong software development expertise with practical experience in DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). This role requires a hands-on coding mindset and a design-thinking approach to build scalable, reliable, and user-centric systems. You will work across the full engineering lifecycle, driving automation, operational excellence, and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Hands-on Development

• Design and implement robust, scalable applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.

• Write clean, efficient, and testable code with a focus on maintainability and performance.

• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers.

• Design Thinking

• Apply user-centric design principles to solve complex technical problems.

• Collaborate with product and UX teams to ensure solutions align with business and customer needs.

• Prototype and iterate quickly to validate ideas before full-scale implementation.

• DevOps & SRE

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.

• Implement infrastructure-as-code and automate operational tasks.

• Ensure system reliability through monitoring, alerting, and incident management.

• Drive postmortem analysis and continuous improvement for system resilience.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Expertise

• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, Go).

• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

• DevOps & SRE

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).

• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, FluxCD).

• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform).

• Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki).

• Mindset & Approach

• Strong problem-solving skills with a design-thinking mindset.

• Ability to balance technical depth with user-centric design.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
