KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure the cleaning of all refrigerated containers.

• Maintain the cleaning equipment.

• Ensure the water tank is filled.

• Perform other tasks related to the activity as needed.

• Comply with labor regulations, relevant HSSE policies and procedures, terminal rules and procedures, and contribute to the continuous improvement process.

• Develop and maintain knowledge in relevant areas

Work/Business Contacts and Authority:

• Internal

• Staff from other departments at various levels, primarily operations, for coordinating washed reefer containers.

• All staff in the technical division for specific information and scheduling tasks.

• The nature of the contact is primarily shared, although disagreements may arise; these will normally be addressed and resolved.

External Contact

• The nature of the contact is primarily for giving and receiving information and, in most cases, will be for the achievement of a common goal.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Someone with:

• Requires a primary school diploma. Experience in the cleaning field.

• Requires at least one year of prior work experience in a similar role, demonstrating the ability to follow instructions, work under pressure, and maintain safety.

• Must have knowledge of safe handling rules and procedures for materials.

• Demonstrated ability to operate pressure washers.

• Ability to record washed containers in a log.

• Demonstrated ability to follow safe work procedures and safety and work instructions.

• Demonstrated ability to use safe materials and handling procedures.
