APM Terminals

We are looking for Apprentices for 1 year for Gateway Terminals of India to work in our workshops and with the equipment at the Wharf and ICD – Inland Container Depot.

Required Qualification:

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering with First Class/Distinction and no full time work experience.

  • Completed academics throughout study period with no breaks and Subject Backlogs.

Experience:

  • No work experience required for this position.

Experienced or able to get Trained on below Skills.

  • Able to learn quickly to work on Computerized Maintenance Management System (IFS-10)

  • Development of Work Instructions for Various Maintenance activities.

  • Work Instructions and Job Instructions development as per AM FLOW Implementation requirements.

  • S5 development as per AM FLOW Implementation requirements.

  • Development of Work template Tasks (WTTs) for various corrective Maintenance, Modification Jobs.

  • Work Orders Updating in coordination with Shift Supervisors and Maintenance Coordinators

  • Maintaining Warranty claims records for New STS and RMGC equipment

  • Maintaining Dock Safety Records for Equipment

  • Maintaining Risk Assessment records for various Jobs and Assisting timely Annual Review.

  • Preparation of Specifications for critical parts to be procured and coordinating with Inventory Manager for part codes creation and PR creation.

  • Development of Spare Parts categorization

  • Mechanical drawings updating as per Modifications being carried out on Equipment time to time and getting approval from Equipment Manager and HoAM.

  • Keeping records of various Hired Contractor Employees and completing their annual Safety refresher Training before due dates.

  • Coordinating With External Vendors for Gate pass, Safety Trainings and Internal Permissions for Executing the Planned Jobs on Equipment.

Other Required skills:

  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence.

  • Excellent English written and verbal communication.

  • Good Team Player.
