The Payroll Intern will support payroll operations across Panama and the Central America & Caribbean cluster. This role provides exposure to multi-country payroll processes, vendor coordination, statutory compliance, documentation management, and payroll audits.

The position combines physical office responsibilities (documentation and statutory coordination in Panama) with virtual support for regional payroll activities and special projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain physical SIPE billing files and statutory documentation.

• Support physical documentation management for severance fund (Cesantía) processes when required.

• Assist with messaging and coordination of CSS-related payments.

• Maintain proper physical filing structure aligned with payroll compliance requirements.

• Process and track vendor invoicing for Payroll (Panama – All Legal Entities).

• Coordinate payroll support documentation between Payroll (PY) and People Partners (PA/PP) People Advisor, including:

Payslips

• Payroll reports

• Employment letters

• Payroll license details

• Support special payroll projects such as:

Vacation audits

• Severance fund cost center (CC) reviews

• Payroll documentation process audits

• Provide general payroll support to Caribbean countries within the cluster.

We are looking for:

• Students currently enrolled in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or related programs.

• High attention to detail and confidentiality awareness.

• Intermediate Excel skills preferred.

• Intermediate PowerPoint skills preferred.

• English proficiency
