Job Description:

The SAP EWM / WM Consultant will be part of highly motivated and passionate team within DXC, responsible for delivering comprehensive SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Warehouse Management (WM) solutions.

This role encompasses the full lifecycle of SAP projects, including system maintenance, project development, migration initiatives, and implementation of warehouse management functionalities. The consultant will lead all phases of delivery—from conceptual design and technical configuration to testing, quality assurance, and cutover support—while ensuring compliance with contractual and operational requirements.

The position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to act as a trusted advisor to clients. The consultant will manage solution design, configuration, and integration with third-party applications, driving innovation and operational excellence through IT solutions. Additionally, the role involves providing technology consulting, shaping technical strategies, and contributing to DXC’s solution portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements and recommend improvements to SAP EWM/WM solutions for efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Design, configure, and implement SAP solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems and workflows.

  • Translate client requirements into detailed SAP specifications and lead full-cycle implementations, including testing and go-live.

  • Manage SAP project lifecycle, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and budgets are met while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

  • Develop and execute test plans, conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), and resolve system issues or defects.

  • Prepare comprehensive documentation, status reports, and training materials; deliver end-user training and post-implementation support.

  • Maintain strong client and stakeholder communication, ensuring alignment on project goals and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Stay updated on SAP advancements, industry trends, and implement security measures to protect data integrity.

Primary Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ Years of experience in SAP EWM / WM / Stock Room Management solutions with at least 2 full cycle implementations.

  • Experience with both S/4 HANA embedded and decentralized warehouse scenarios on SAP EWM.

  • Strong experience in Inbound, Outbound, and Internal warehouse processes.

  • Hands-on experience with integration to mobile devices.

  • Experience with MFS (Material Flow systems) & warehouse automation scenarios are a value add.

  • Deep experience with integration to other SAP modules like MM, SD, PP and TM.

  • Experience with integration with 3PL warehouse scenarios.
