Job Description: SAP Senior Consultant – Focus on PP, PP/DS & aATP

Overview

As an SAP Senior Consultant specializing in Production Planning (PP), Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS), and Advanced Available-to-Promise (aATP), you will support clients in complex S/4HANA transformation projects. You will take a leading role in process analysis, solution design, and implementation of modern planning and execution processes.

Your Responsibilities

  • Consulting, designing, and implementing end-to-end processes in SAP PP, PP/DS, and aATP

  • Analyzing and optimizing production and supply chain processes

  • Leading workshops and creating functional and technical documentation

  • Collaborating closely with Production, Planning, SCM, Logistics, and Sales teams

  • Supporting integration with modules such as MM, SD, QM, and EWM

  • Participating in project phases including testing, cutover, and hypercare

  • Coaching junior consultants and contributing to knowledge sharing

  • Leading workstreams or taking on module responsibility

Required Expertise

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP PP consultant, ideally with PP/DS and aATP

  • Experience in S/4HANA implementation or migration projects

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and planning strategies

  • Deep knowledge of MRP, capacity planning, PP/DS heuristics, planning functions, and aATP features

  • Familiarity with integration points across SAP modules

  • Strong configuration skills and understanding of enhancements

  • Excellent communication and consulting skills

  • Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style

  • Ability to work independently as well as in teams

  • Strong sense of ownership and responsibility

  • Very good English skills; German skills are a plus
