At DXC Technology, we are looking for an AWSCloud Engineer to join our fantastic team. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and configuring cloud technologies. Working closely with our architects, you will contribute to the development and deployment of cloud-based solutions. Additionally, you will support the efficient operation and maintenance of these solutions, ensuring their reliability and performance.

Tasks:

• Accountable for delivering, maintaining, and optimizing Cloud Platforms (AWS and/or Azure) and related infrastructure, network, database, and middleware capabilities to support and enable the development of Cloud projects and operations.

• Accountable for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting the operational capacity, availability, and performance of the Cloud solutions against SLAs from a level two and level three support perspective.

• Accountable for deploying new projects in the existing Cloud infrastructure.

• Drive technical discussions with public cloud providers to anticipate and align long-term capacity and performance needs. You’ll regularly review and adjust forecasts to ensure scalable, cost-effective, and high-performing cloud infrastructure.

Requirements:

• 1 year experience in Engineering roles infrastructure & network design in web-scale environments

• Knowledge in automation and IaaC (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Jenkins, etc.), version control (e.g. Git), CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins, or TFS, or Travis CI), containers (e.g. Docker, kubernetes or Open Shift), infrastructure testing (e.g. Server Spec), infrastructure security (e.g. OWASP ZAP), or test automation (e.g. Selenium or Gatling).

• Infrastructure & Network automation and configuration management tools

• Public cloud IaaS and PaaS deployment models and technologies

• Network knowledge and network management experience in a large data center environment, preferably

• Highly cross-functional and able to swap and perform adjacent roles and responsibilities at short notice

• Strong relationship building, persuasion, and collaboration skills that drive effective constructive feedback and support

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil difficult technical concepts into simple and actionable practices
