Role: Senior VAT Analyst

Location: Hybrid from local offices (Wrocław, Warszawa, Gdańsk, Kraków)

Your future responsibilities will include:

• Preparing, reviewing and filing monthly and periodically VAT returns, European Sales Lists, European Purchase List and SAFT in compliance with legal requirements in EMEA region, procedures as well as accounting and financial policies of DXC
• Reconciling VAT accounts and reviewing VAT account reconciliation according to accounting and financial policies to assure the best quality
• Managing VAT accounts during Month End Closure (MEC)
• Supporting SOX and external audits
• Supporting Balance Sheet Review for VAT
• Cooperating closely with Tax Managers and Country Controllers in EMEA region
• Carrying out of ad hoc analyses for management purposes.

Key requirements and skills:

• Associates/Master’s degree in Finance/ Accounting preferred.
• Typically 3+ years of experience in finance, in particular in the area of tax (VAT)
• Understanding the general VAT mechanism, the common (EU and international) system of VAT, and its practical application
• Strong business application skills, especially MS Excel and other MS Office components
• Experience with the SAP environment would be an advantage
• Good understanding of accounting processes.
• Good analytical skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Good communication skills.
