Job Description:
A Senior SAP ABAP Developer designs, builds, and maintains complex custom solutions, leading development, mentoring juniors, and ensuring high performance, often using modern tech like ABAP Cloud, SAPUI5/Fiori, and RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) for S/4HANA projects, translating business needs into technical specs, collaborating across teams, and supporting full lifecycle development with a focus on quality and innovation in cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities

Development: Create, enhance, and maintain ABAP programs, reports, enhancements, and interfaces (BAPIs, OData, APIs).

Modern Tech: Develop UIs with SAPUI5/Fiori and build services using RAP and SAP BTP.

Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants, architects, and business owners to define requirements and solutions.

Leadership & Mentoring: Guide junior developers, conduct peer reviews, and provide technical expertise.

Lifecycle Management: Participate in all phases: analysis, design, coding, testing (unit/integration), deployment, and support.

Optimization: Improve code performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Documentation: Prepare technical and functional documentation.
Key Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 8+ years in SAP ABAP development, ideally with S/4HANA.

Technical: Strong ABAP Objects, ALV, Enhancements, Forms, BAPIs, BADIs, OData, SAP Gateway, SAP BTP, Fiori.

Methodologies: Experience with agile (SAFe) and SAP's Clean Core approach.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
