About This Role:
DXC is looking for a Consulting Engineering Sales Lead to join our growing LATAM Sales team by driving the sales process and outcomes on a dedicated basis, building, growing a profitable pipeline and or backlog of sales, through deal origination, sales negotiations, and closure.
The Consulting Engineering Sales Lead for Mexico Region will be responsible for driving business growth through technical consulting and solution selling. This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic sales leadership to position the company’s solutions effectively across diverse industries in the region. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and business objectives and leading Mexico´s consulting engineering sales team.
What You´ll Do:
- Lead complex selling efforts that identify, qualify, cultivate, and close new business in Consulting Engineering Service (CES) in Mexico Region
- Maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline and forecast data working with Sales Operations
- Create and help frame DXC’s differentiated value story, develop strategic win themes for proposals
- Drive joint opportunities and source partner pipeline
- Operate within large teams and directs specific team sales origination activities
- Create strategic and tactical plans to grow a book of business and assist in closing opportunities
- Educate Clients on DXC capabilities and success stories to effectively communicate DXC’ value prop to both partners and customers
- Interact with senior management levels at clients and within DXC
- Foster relationships, both with clients and internally with account teams
- Sales Leadership:
-Develop and execute a regional sales strategy focused on consulting engineering services.
-Identify and pursue new business opportunities within Mexico.
-Achieve or exceed revenue targets and growth objectives.
- Technical Consulting:
-Provide technical guidance and solution design for clients in collaboration with engineering teams
-Lead pre-sales activities, including presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements.
-Translate complex technical requirements into clear business value propositions.
- Client Relationship Management:
-Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives and technical decision-makers.
-Act as the primary point of contact for consulting engineering engagements.
- Market Development:
-Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for new solutions and services.
-Collaborate with marketing and product teams to tailor offerings for the Mexican market.
- Team Collaboration:
-Work closely with internal sales, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure successful project execution.
-Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in Consulting engineering sales (Cloud, Data, Automation, Transformation, AI, modernization, software development)
- MUST have 3+ years of experience as Consulting engineering sales lead within Mexico- Additional regions are a plus.
- Proven track record in selling Custom Applications including Application Modernization, Software Development, Applications Management, Testing Services, Cloud, Data, Automation, Transformation, AI and the ability to articulate the above offerings and value propositions crisply - This is a mandatory.
- Drive and win Consulting engineering service deals to a large scale
- Clearer upfront accountability for TCV ownership and Growth in the Mexico region
- Reduced duplication across sections describing sales leadership, technical consulting, and client engagement
- senior, quota-carrying Consulting Engineering Sales Leader with clear regional ownership.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Fluency in Spanish and English (Portuguese is a plus).
Work Environment:
- This position location base is in Mexico City or Guadalajara only
- Ability to travel across Mexico.
