Work Location: IOI City, Putrajaya

Work Arrangement: Fully onsite, Monday to Friday (5 days a week)

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications and APIs.

• Build and enhance automation testing frameworks to support scalable test coverage.

• Set up and configure continuous testing processes within CI/CD pipelines.

• Ensure thorough testing and quality validation across all delivered features, enhancements, and upgrades.

• Collaborate closely with developers, business teams, and other stakeholders to fully understand system functionality and testing requirements.

• Provide clear and accurate effort estimates for testing activities.

• Document and report defects with sufficient detail to facilitate efficient resolution, and support development teams during troubleshooting.

• Effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Champion a continuous improvement mindset, driving test automation maturity and efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.

• Relevant certifications or demonstrated learning paths (e.g., bootcamps) are also acceptable.

• Certification such as ITIL is an advantage.

• Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer/Tester or in a similar role.

• Hands-on experience with Gherkin/Cucumber and Selenium.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java (preferred); knowledge of Angular or COBOL is a plus.

• Solid understanding of automated testing tools, frameworks, and best practices.

• Experience with version control systems (preferably Git).

• Familiarity with performance and load testing tools.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration tools.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.

Preferred Industry Background:Experience in the Finance, Banking, or Insurance sectors is highly desirable. Prior exposure to production support and interaction with business users is an added advantage.
