Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure Service Now applications and modules, ensuring alignment with business requirements.

• Implement ITSM Professional features (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Knowledge, Service Catalog).

• Leverage Now Assist and GenAI for automation and AI-driven workflows.

• Develop and maintain mobile experiences using Service Now Mobility framework.

• Build and manage integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, JDBC, and other protocols.

• Create and optimize workflows using Flow Designer and Integration Hub.

• Develop custom UI components using UI Builder and Service Portal.

• Write and maintain client scripts, server-side scripts, business rules, and script includes.

• Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.

• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders for solution design.

• Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning.

• Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to support teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–8 years of hands-on Service Now development experience.

• Strong knowledge of Service Now ITSM Professional Suite.

• Experience with Now Assist and GenAI features.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and Service Now scripting.

• Expertise in Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and UI Builder.

• Experience in Service Portal development and mobile app configuration.

• Strong understanding of REST/SOAP web services and integration patterns.

• Familiarity with CMDB design and maintenance.

• Knowledge of Service Now upgrade and patch processes.

• Good understanding of ITIL processes.

• Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Performance Analytics, Virtual Agent, and Predictive Intelligence.

• Knowledge of Scoped Applications and Custom App Development.

• Experience of developing and configuring Service Now Mobile Applications.

• Familiarity with Service Now Security (ACLs, roles).

• Exposure to Service Now HRSD, CSM, or ITOM modules.

• Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications.
