About This Role

Candidate will help the business optimize its costing processes, analyze cost reports, and support planning, budgeting, and forecasting efforts. Role involves configuring SAP systems to meet the organization's financial management needs, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Understanding the organization's needs and how SAP CO can be used to address them.

• Setting up the system to meet specific business needs, including configuring cost centers, profit centers, and other CO components.

• Ensuring the SAP CO system is functioning correctly and resolving any issues that may arise.

• Providing training and support to end-users on how to use the SAP CO system.

• Helping business understand its costs, analyze profitability, and make informed decisions.

• Helping business develop and manage its financial plans.

• Ensuring that the SAP CO system is used correctly, and that all data is accurate and compliant with relevant regulations.

• Working with other SAP consultants to ensure that SAP CO is integrated with other modules, such as FI (Financial Accounting) and MM (Materials Management).

• Keeping abreast of the latest SAP CO features and technologies.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related area of study

• 6+ years of SAP experience

• Experience with SAP CO modules, including Cost Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, and Project System.

• Understanding of financial accounting and cost accounting principles.

• Ability to work with both business and technical teams.

• Bilingual (Spanish/English)

• Availability to travel
