About the Role

As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering hands-on configuration and solution expertise across multiple Finance sub-modules. You will collaborate with Finance stakeholders, solution architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver best-practice SAP solutions that support statutory compliance, enable process efficiency, and integrate seamlessly with Procurement, Sales, Projects, and HR/Payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct workshops with Finance stakeholders to capture requirements and map them into SAP S/4HANA

• Configure SAP Finance modules including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Bank Accounting

• Support design of financial close, reporting, and reconciliations.

• Ensure integration of Finance with MM (P2P), SD (OTC), PS (Projects), and HCM (Payroll)

• Develop functional specifications for WRICEF objects (reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, workflows)

• Support Finance data migration (open items, balances, assets) and reconciliations through mock cycles

• Participate in SIT, UAT, regression testing, and cutover rehearsals

• Provide post-go-live support and knowledge transfer to Finance users

• Contribute to project documentation including process maps, test scripts, and training material

Experience & Skills Required

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance (GL, AP, AR, AA, Banking)

• Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, tax configuration, and statutory compliance

• Familiarity with Financial Close processes, reconciliations, and reporting

• Integration awareness across Procurement, Sales, Payroll, and Projects

• Ability to produce blueprint documentation, functional specs, and testing artefacts

• Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills

Tools & Methodologies

• SAP S/4HANA Finance (1909 or later)

• SAP Fiori apps for Finance processes

• SAP Activate methodology

• Change/test management tools (Solution Manager, JIRA, q Test)

• SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for reporting (advantageous)

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or IT

• SAP Certification in S/4HANA Financial Accounting desirable

• Professional accounting credentials (ACCA, CIMA, CPA) advantageous

Stakeholder & Soft Skills

• Strong communication and presentation skills with Finance stakeholders

• Analytical and detail-oriented mindset with problem-solving skills

• Ability to explain Finance processes in business terms to non-technical users

• Collaborative and proactive, comfortable working in a global consulting environment
