Role: Senior Statutory Accountant for Germany

Location: Hybrid from Wrocław, Warszawa, Kraków or Gdańsk

Essential Job Functions:

• Supervise the development and implementation of financial policies and internal controls.

• Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.

• Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate financial audits for the DXC companies in Germany.

• Monitor and enforce compliance with accounting regulations and internal controls for both US GAAP as well as German HGB.

• Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.

• Foster collaboration and teamwork within the controllership team.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Fluent knowledge of English (min. B2)

• Typically, 7+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role

• Proven experience in financial management, accounting, and control functions

• Proficiencies in financial reporting, audit compliance, and risk management

• Continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology

Other Qualifications:

• An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) is a plus​

• Knowledge of the German language will be an asset
