About the role The Lead AI/ML Software Engineer is part of the Conversion Accelerator program, building AI/ML-enabled and cloud-native tools that accelerate customer and data migration from legacy to modern applications. The team drives high-impact engineering initiatives using Python, AWS, React, and MLOps frameworks.

D aily challenges

• Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms, including supervised, unsupervised, deep learning, and reinforcement learning techniques.
• Build generative AI solutions using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Vector Databases, Lang Chain, and Hugging Face.
• Utilize AI/ML frameworks and libraries like Tensor Flow, Py Torch, and scikit-learn for model development.
• Design and deploy NLP models, including text classification, CNNs, RNNs, and Transformer-based models like BERT.
• Ensure robust end-to-end AI/ML pipelines, covering data preprocessing, feature engineering, model deployment, and monitoring.
• Mentor and guide a team of data scientists and ML engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
• Provide technical leadership to help resolve challenges and ensure best practices in AI/ML development.
• Define and drive AI/ML strategy, aligning technical initiatives with business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML solutions into business workflows and products.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to optimize AI-driven decision-making.
• Communicate complex AI concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

X perience and skills required

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML model development and deployment.
• Strong expertise in Python and AI/ML frameworks like Tensor Flow, Py Torch, and scikit-learn.
• Experience with Generative AI, RAG, Lang Chain, Vector DBs, and NLP techniques.
• Hands-on experience with AWS AI/ML services, including Sagemaker, Lambda, DynamoDB, and S3.
• Proven ability to mentor and lead AI/ML teams, setting technical direction.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present AI-driven insights to stakeholders.
• Experience managing end-to-end AI/ML projects from conception to deployment.
• Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD for ML, and AI model optimization techniques.
• Experience working with large-scale AI solutions in production environments.
• Understanding of AI ethics, bias mitigation, and responsible AI principles.
