Job Description:
Overview
The Service Now Implementer is responsible for designing, configuring, and deploying Service Now solutions that support enterprise workflows. This role works closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and process owners to translate requirements into scalable, high‑quality platform capabilities. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a deep understanding of FSO (Financial Service Offering) processes and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather and document functional and technical requirements.
- Design and configure Service Now modules.
- Build workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, integrations, and automation using Service Now best practices.
- Implement platform enhancements, upgrades, and patches while ensuring minimal disruption.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specs, configuration guides, and test plans.
- Integrate Service Now with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and Integration Hub.
- Conduct unit testing, UAT support, and production deployment activities.
- Provide post‑implementation support, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Ensure platform governance, security, and compliance standards are followed.
- Stay current with Service Now releases, new features, and industry trends.
Required Qualifications
- Hands‑on experience implementing and configuring Service Now modules.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise service management concepts.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and Service Now configuration tools.
- Experience with integrations (REST, SOAP, SSO, LDAP, OAuth, etc.).
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- One or more Implementation Specialist certifications (prefer FSO - Financial Service Operations).
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
- Background in enterprise IT, consulting, or digital transformation projects.
