Job Description:

Responsibilities

Lead deal teams and represent DXC to clients for large insurance deals, both local and international.

Assemble and coordinate all required resources/skills to develop proposals, pursue opportunities, and win large deals.

Assist in opportunity qualification, risk assessment, and validate/endorse technical solutions with delivery teams to ensure proper execution.

Develop deal timelines, ensuring pursuit teams meet milestones and deadlines.

Lead pursuit teams in crafting winning value propositions tailored to insurance clients, analyzing critical business drivers and risks.

Lead negotiations for large, complex insurance deals, ensuring alignment with DXC strategy and client requirements.

Proactively manage resource requirements throughout deal pursuit.

Support smooth transition of deals to account management, including personnel, technology adoption, and process handover.
Education and Experience Required
-
15+ years of experience in complex IT services or software solutions sales, preferably with insurance clients.

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or MBA preferred.

Broad knowledge of corporate policies, products, markets, and business management principles.

Demonstrated expertise in leading 3–5 large managed services , core system implementation deals in insurance.

Strong managerial and planning skills with a track record of leading multi-stakeholder teams.
Knowledge and Skills

Deep, comprehensive knowledge of insurance industry IT domains, including core systems, policy administration, and analytics.

Ability to develop high-level IT strategies and roadmaps with clients.

Skilled in value-based selling and negotiating where DXC may not be the lowest-cost provider.

Established industry network of partners and insurance clients.

Ability to articulate DXC’s insurance software value proposition, including cloud, AI-enabled, and modular digital transformation solutions.
