Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

SAP GTS Functional Consulting

  • Configure and support SAP GTS components including:
  • Design and implement embargo checks, sanctioned party list (SPL) screening, and legal control processes in line with global trade regulations.
  • Ensure accurate handling of export/import controls, license management, and regulatory reporting.

Integration & Technical Collaboration

  • Lead and support integration of SAP GTS with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA systems.
  • Work closely with technical teams on IDocs, RFCs, and middleware integrations to ensure stable and compliant data flows. Lead system testing, defect resolution, and performance optimization related to GTS integrations.

Implementation & Project Delivery

  • Lead SAP GTS implementations (ECC and/or S/4HANA environments), including blueprinting, realization, testing, cutover, and post-go-live support.
  • Responsible for Legacy system migration initiatives to SAP GTS, ensuring minimal business disruption and regulatory compliance.

Business Process & Domain Expertise

  • Demonstrate deep domain knowledge in global trade and customs processes, especially in manufacturing industry scenarios.
  • Understand and map end-to-end business processes including order-to-cash (OTC), procure-to-pay (P2P), and logistics flows as they relate to global trade.

Client Engagement & Consulting

  • Actively participate in customer workshops to gather requirements and understand business challenges.
  • Perform gap analysis between business requirements and SAP GTS standard functionality and Prepare functional design documents (FDDs), configuration rationale, and solution design artifacts.
  • Provide advisory support to clients on best practices and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • 6 - 10 years of overall SAP experience with strong specialization in SAP GTS transformation Projects.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in the Manufacturing industry, with exposure to global trade and logistics processes.
  • Proven experience in 2 to 3 SAP GTS implementations involving ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA landscapes. Must have worked on Enhanced for HANA (E for H) implementation
  • Exposure to legacy system migration to SAP GTS is a strong advantage.
