Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced SAP Finance DRC Functional Lead to join our SAP Finance landscape and support customers in meeting statutory reporting, e‑invoicing, and digital compliance requirements using SAP S/4HANA with Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC).

In this role, you will take ownership of the functional DRC solution design and act as a key person between Finance, Tax, Compliance, and technical team. You will contribute to compliant, scalable, and future‑proof SAP Finance solutions across countries and regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities:

Consulting & Compliance Design

  • Analyze statutory reporting, e‑invoicing, and digital compliance requirements and translate them into SAP S/4HANA DRC solution

  • Act as the functional lead for SAP DRC on S/4HANA, ensuring alignment with business, legal, and regulatory expectations

  • Advise Finance and Tax stakeholders on SAP standard capabilities and best‑practice compliance approaches

Implementation & Configuration

  • Drive the implementation and rollout of statutory reporting, e‑invoicing, and country‑specific compliance scenarios in SAP S/4HANA

  • Translate legal and business requirements into functional designs, configuration guidance, and user stories

  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure business requirements are correctly implemented across DRC and SAP Finance components, including localization content

Project Work & Collaboration

  • Lead DRC‑focused workshops and support alignment between business and IT teams

  • Partner with QA teams to define test scenarios, support UAT, validate compliance outputs, and manage defect resolution

  • Support go‑live readiness, cutover activities, and post‑go‑live hypercare

  • Monitor regulatory changes and proactively assess their impact on the SAP S/4HANA DRC landscape

Requirements:

Professional Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Senior/Lead Consultant in SAP Finance compliance or statutory reporting

  • Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance and Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC)

  • Strong understanding of statutory reporting, e‑invoicing, and digital tax/compliance requirements

  • Proven ability to translate legal and regulatory requirements into clear, implementable functional designs

Functional & Personal Skills

  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders across Finance, Tax, Compliance, and IT

  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills

  • Structured, solution‑oriented, and self‑driven working style

  • Fluent English (German is a plus)
