Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute test cases for new and existing functionalities across web, mobile, or desktop applications

  • Identify, document, and track defects using the team’s defect-tracking tools

  • Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing

  • Collaborate with developers and QA leads to understand requirements and expected outcomes

  • Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation (test cases, test results, test plans)

  • Re-test resolved defects and verify software fixes

  • Report issues clearly and concisely, with supporting details or replication steps

  • Participate in team meetings, sprint ceremonies, and test planning activities

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of software development and testing concepts

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • High attention to detail and willingness to learn

  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a structured testing environment

  • Collaborative team player

  • Good communication and documentation skills

  • Willingness to ask questions and seek clarification

  • Ability to adapt to new tools and processes

  • Curiosity and passion for improving product quality

Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

  • Exposure to software testing through coursework, internship, or personal projects

  • Familiarity with test case writing and bug reporting

  • Basic understanding of tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar

  • Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle)

  • Basic understanding of automation concepts (Selenium, Playwright, etc.) is a plus, but not required
