We're seeking an experienced Mainframe z/OS CICS/MQ Administrator to be responsible for the installation, customization, maintenance, and administration of z/OS CICS Transaction Server and IBM MQ environments. Ensures high availability, security, and optimal performance of critical transaction and messaging systems.

Tasks:

• Lead moderately complex projects.

• Provide team leadership, mentoring, and coordination, including conflict resolution and performance feedback.

• Work with automation to improve system responses.

• Maintain CICS/MQ configurations, procedures, and JCL..

• Perform software installation, upgrades, and apply PTFs.

• Execute backup/recovery and Disaster Recovery (DR) drills.

• Conduct system tuning (SIT, CSQZPARM) and dataset management.

• Provide 24x7 support and research/resolve complex problems.

• Enforce security/audit conformance and manage change control.

Requirements:

• 10+ years experience in CICS/MQ systems programming/administration.

• Strong understanding of CICSplex and MQ architecture, resource administration, and z/OS/JCL.

• Proficiency in performance tuning, dump analysis, and security compliance.

• Strong team leadership and communication skills.

Bonus Points:

• Certification in CICS/MQ.

• Experience with CICS Web Services, MQ Clustering, and scripting (REXX, CLIST).
