Location: Hybrid within the UK
Salary: Dependent on Experience
Due to security clearance vetting requirements candidates must be UK nationals or sole British citizens with 5 years UK residency.
The role:
As an Advisor Business Consultant you will be part of an innovative team, working to define and deploy world class customer solutions using the Service Now platform.
The Business Consultant is a lead voice in client business analysis, consultation, service design, and delivery, specifically addressing Service Now as an enabler to drive organizational change and improvement.
Providing process and technical expertise as a consulting service to clients; contributing to the design and delivery of Service Now solutions including customer engagement, user requirement definition, change management, engagement management, configuration of technical infrastructure components, business focused testing and training. You will develop and demonstrate specialised knowledge and skills in Service Now as an enterprise solution.
Responsibilities:

You will be a part of a team of specialists principally delivering Service Now solutions to a diverse client base. Providing consultative support to lead the client engagement facilitating the design and eventual delivery of the optimised service offering or desired content.

Specifically aligned to Service Now you shall lead workshops to demonstrate platform and application function, define client current and desired state, and finally present the proposed solution.

Building client understanding of Service Now functionality and presenting to a high standard of quality, including customers demonstration, story definition, testing, and supporting the wider sales and delivery functions.

Mentoring and training more junior members of the team

Producing high quality documentation and training material for the implemented solutions; training the client.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have several years experience in Service Now design and development in a consulting environment.
An understanding of Business Analysis and Service Management concepts, delivery assurance principals and procedures.
A high level of knowledge of the Service Now application and ideally experience of platform delivery and enhancement.
You will have obtained the following certifications:

Service Now Certified Administrator
-
Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist across a minimum of four applications

ITIL Foundation
Some Service Now development and scripting skills such as JavaScript, HTML and XHTML, XML, CSS, AJAX, AngularJS would be advantageous.
Project Management and Training certification and experience would be very beneficial.
You will need to have strong communications both written and oral, ability to present solutions to customers including senior management and be highly focused on providing strong customer service.
Able to work as part of a team or individually to project timelines, you will need to be pro-active, creative, hold strong analytical skills, and able to research solutions and make recommendations. You will need to be willing to learn and take on new challenges.
You will need to have the ability to work from home and to travel to client locations for meetings and workshops or work on client sites for periods where required.
