Job Description:

The Test Automation Lead is an experienced multi-skilled professional, with hands on experience in developing Test Automation estimations and strategies on large programs. He/she should have Test Automation implementation experience in using Test Automation tool-Tricentis Tosca , leveraging Java/.NET/Mobility/Legacy platforms. He/she should be a good team player, who is part of a team responsible for delivering end-to-end Test Automation Implementation services to customers. He/she collaborates with Program leaders and professionals in the regional and worldwide DXC Application Services community to leverage modern solutions and brings best in class Test Automation expertise to ensure applications are Tested as per Quality and productivity norms and delivered on time

The Automation lead is motivated to take strong ownership on actions, to find innovative ways to improve the services’ agility and efficiency, and to continuously gain more skills and contribute effectively towards Test Automation capability development in the Organization.

Primary Skills and Qualifications

Experience Level - 10 to 12 years in Test Automation

The candidate should have the following Technical skills / capabilities.

• Excellent communication and client facing experience

• Should be proficient in the following

• Designing, Development and implementation of Test Automation framework on Web/custom apps using Test Automation tools ( Open Source / Commercial)

• 4+ Years of experience in Tosca Automation Tool – Set up License Server , Commander , Dex Agents , Automation Scripting , Test Execution , Trouble shooting , Test Results , Integration with Octane.

• Java/C#/Java Script / Python programming

• Testing lifecycle and Test Automation implementation process

• Developing solutions and estimation for large to mid-sized projects

• Test Management tools ( ALM / Jira / QTest)

• Should have experience in implementing Test Automation in Agile Development projects

• Domain experience in Banking and Insurance (Good to have)

The Job responsibilities are:

• Analysing the requirements, Designing and Development of Test Automation Framework, using Test Automation tools, in accordance with Best in-class Industry standards

• Leading the Test Automation team(s) as per the business needs in ST/SIT/UAT Phases and drive the teams right from the requirements analysis, reviews, test readiness, SIT execution and publishing the test summary reports to all the key-stake holders.

• Involving in customer facing discussions to review the potential requirements/enhancements which can be considered for Automation.

• Managing the Test Automation activities which includes reviewing the business requirements, estimating effort/schedule, preparing the Automation Test strategy/plans.

• Monitoring and mentoring the team members and help them as needed with the technical dependencies and sharing the application(s)/product knowledge.

• Assessing the applications which can be considered for future automation.
