We are currently seeking an innovative Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer – Interior & Exterior to contribute, promote, and drive best-in-class product quality at the various stages of the product development process. This is a high-performance role that would have significant visibility both within and outside the organization and will require technical expertise, passion, and interpersonal skills to collaborate and influence outcomes, work through complex and fast-paced environments, and establish credibility with peers and senior management.
To ensure success, you should have deep professional technical experience implementing quality and reliability best practices, and innovations and ensure validation. You will combine your expertise to advance product excellence and innovation. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, possess the ability to lead teams, and strive for product validation within a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination and will have a strong track record of quality program management in the automotive industry with recommended experience in Greenfield launch
Responsibilities:

Lead supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring, and assisting key suppliers towards industrial standards of excellence for Interior & Exterior environments.

Support suppliers’ development activity and Greenfield launch

Plan and lead product quality requirements at various product development stages.

Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to achieve product excellence goals.

Work cross functional with Plant level Manufacturing, Quality, Material Planning and Engineering to ensure supplier quality issues are contained and Lucid plants are protected.

Manage and report performance metrics timely to diagnose and prioritize issues.

Contribute ideas and best practices to successful quality gates.

Facilitate and lead quality resolutions, innovations, and continual improvements.

Document processes and compliance with AIAG and IATF16949 industry standards.

Positive attitude, willingness to learn, be part of the solution and be able to adapt to the dynamic working environment.

Be able to work independently and make decisions in the best interest of Lucid and its business.

Have ability to travel 25-75% on average on a short term or long-term basis to Lucid Motors and supplier sites Regionally /Globally on a short notice.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
-
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field – Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Electrical Engineering,
-
8+ years of High-volume manufacturing and assembly plant experience supporting Interior & Exterior components in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering
-
Automotive industry experience with OEM(s)/CBU and suppliers around supplier quality, program management disciplines/departments
-
Greenfield management experience is a plus
-
Supplier quality polyvalent profile is plus: background in several fields including plastic injection, surface treatment, assembly, electric, textile, etc.

Advanced knowledge of the full life cycle of product quality gates during product development.

Practical Problem Solving, D/PFMEA, APQP, Lean Six Sigma, core tools

Exceptional timely communication and interpersonal skills.
