Job Summary:

The Creative Designer will be part of Lowe’s Global Marketing Team based out of Bangalore. The candidate will work under the supervision of the Creative Leaders and collaborate with Copywriters and Producers to create design collateral for various marketing channels.The candidate will require to have good communication skills to be able to understand requirements accurately and present their concepts confidently to partners. In the course of their work they should be develop an understanding of the American retail industry and cultural nuances.
Additionally understanding of the American retail industry and cultural nuances is good to have. The suitable candidate should be a good team player, self-motivated and bring in fresh concepts that can elevate the brand image.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities:

• Design digital assets for various channels – social, display and emails.
• Understand the Lowes brand guidelines and be able to create designs that are consistent with the brand tone and voice.
• Provide solutions that work best for the brand.
• Take accountability for work and work with minimum supervision over a period of time.
• Present designs to partners and team leads.
• Works within Workfront for job workload management.
• Have flexibility to design various projects which include store displays, brand styleguides, seasonal content, logos and brand launches
• Develop a strong understanding of designing for retail and retail marketing events.

Years of Experience:

• 2-4 years in a similar role preferably in a design studio, advertising agency or retail firm.

Education Qualification & Certifications (optional)

List the education, certification, work experience and skills required to minimally qualify an individual for the job.

• A design graduate- BFA, B.Des, MFA or equivalent with experience in a similar design role.

Skill Set Required

Primary Skills (must have)

• A portfolio that demonstrates strong branding, typography, design, animation and photography capabilities
• Demonstrated understanding of design/color applied in layout, design and image composition
• Experience in Figma, Adobe CS including Photoshop, In Design and Illustrator
• Good communication skills – written and spoken
