About the Team
Onboarding & Maintenance team is responsible for onboarding vendors into Lowes and helping them setup products to be sold at stores and online platform. Team is responsible to provide white glove service to vendors by helping them troubleshoot and navigate through our internal systems. We also undertake maintenance activities to keep vendor and product records updated such as setting up company profiles, draft contracts by recording the negotiated business terms, obtain signatures from relevant stakeholders and ensure Lowe's core systems have up-to-date information for specific projects. On a daily basis, the team handles tasks such as setting up new items and managing their life cycle, including activities like managing discontinued items, reviewing and correcting data, changing item types and maintaining accurate information with products on lowes.com.
Job Summary:
The team's main role is to help new domestic vendors during the onboarding process.

- Onboard vendors and maintain vendor information as part of Online merchandising
- Provide white glove service to key stakeholders and suppliers
- Item Setup -working with suppliers and merchants to setup new items
- Maintaining the item life cycle

- Onboarding and training new team members. Ability to understand and determine where and when deliverables are in jeopardy or when data management strategies are not optimally supporting the enterprise strategy, when and who to escalate the risk to, and develop and recommend mitigation tactics
- Ability to exercise positive control over the processes and methods used by data stewards and data custodians to handle data such that it supports the needs of the enterprise through disciplined approaches to data policies, data quality, data management, and business process management.

- The manager must understand their customers and business goals while effectively collaborating across functional business and solutions teams to manage processes to achieve all business requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with 11-14 years of experience in Item setup, managing vendor/supplier relationships

Core Responsibilities:
- Manager is primarily responsible for managing a GMM under Onboarding and Maintenance. This team woks on requests from Vendors and Merchants to Onboard them and their products within SLA. Team also works on maintaining contracts and items while helping vendors with queries and troubleshooting.
- Manage performance to deliver best in class service to our vendors and reduce Merchant’s work through process simplification and automation.
- Identify opportunities to reduce transactional tasks and increase research & analytics to propose resolutions.
- Responsible for providing input on key projects associated with providing timely, useable and compliant information in order to enable omni- channel selling and seamless customer experiences.
- Responsible for developing strategies tied to larger corporate initiatives that requires above average focus and results. Plans, develops, and leads a team to leverage enterprise capabilities that promote products/brands online that enhance the customer's experience.
- Responsible for proactively monitoring and communicating item onboarding volume and providing metrics and risk mitigation on item health and progress.
- Executes all formal item lifecycle processes and identifies process improvement opportunities.
- Partners with the right teams for any issues needing resolution, in regard to item data maintenance.
- Supports in the execution of efforts to put new processes in place to enhance Lowe’s ability to maintain the library of items.
- Responsible for understanding the merchandising process and causes/reasons for item status changes as well as other actions taken against items related to pricing/markdowns, promotions, inventory availability, and fulfillment.
- Monitors various product feedback mechanisms, such as customer reviews and complaints regarding product quality, and takes action to drive data quality resolution.
- Partners with cross-functional teams to establish and continuously improve processes that meets data quality standards during the item onboarding process.
- This role will be responsible for effectively transitioning right scope of work to Lowe’s India and ensuring timely as well as quality delivery. This position will work cross-functionally with leaders in Merchandising, Supply Chain, Digital, IT, Marketing and Operations to ensure mid to long-term strategies and tactics are being supported.
Years of Experience:
- 10+ years of combined experience in Online/Digital/Site Merchandising teams
- 4+ years of leadership experience
- 7+ Retail industry experience

- Graduate (in any discipline)
Skill Set Required
- Must have a good understanding of e Commerce in retail segment across multiple Online, mobile, Call Center, etc.),
- Strong Digital Acumen – should demonstrate understanding of ecommerce user functionalities with the ability to view site experience from an end user perspective Expertise on Online Pricing and Promotions Operations
