You will be the Quality Engineer for the Quality Engineering team. Our team is responsible for driving operational excellence through data‑driven quality initiatives.

### What You Will Be Doing

As the Quality Engineer you will be responsible for developing, administering, managing, presenting, and continuously improving key quality metrics and corrective‑action processes.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop, administer, and enhance Quality Executive Leadership Council (ELC) metrics.

  - Manage the PCO Corrective Action Board, Customer Focus meetings, and related initiatives.

  - Oversee Government Corrective Action Request systems and lead lean quality improvement projects.

  - Collaborate with Production Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, and Material Support Center staff to identify and execute improvement opportunities.

  - Analyze data to spot adverse trends and lead the implementation of corrective actions.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors or masters degree from an accredited college in a STEM related degree

Ability to acquire a Secret clearance and must have at least an interim secret clearance prior to start.

Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.

Desired Skills:

STEM degree at bachelors level or higher preferred.

Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt / Black Belt).

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
