Description: Lockheed Martin’s Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) business, the leading provider and pioneer for superior weapon systems, sensors and services is seeking an experienced Program Manager to join the Air Dominance team in Orlando, FL. You will be responsible for leading the Engineering & Manufacturing Development (EMD) Program.

What You Will Be Doing

As the EMD Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for the execution of the program activities leading to the successful completion of the EMD program. Within a highly complex, concurrent development and production environment, your program management responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Leading the cross functional team responsible for the execution of the EMD Program across multiple sites and suppliers.

  • Leading a team of multiple program managers.

  • Overseeing day-to-day development activities including oversight of cost, schedule, contract requirements and program execution with focus on risk and opportunity management.

  • Interfacing with key customer interfaces and communication to program teams.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications:

Must have the ability to work onsite full-time

Prior program management experience leading complex and large scale programs.

Proven earned value management skills.

Prior experience leading cross functional teams and direct report program managers with responsibility for quality, technical, schedule, and cost performance.

Exceptional interpersonal communication and formal presentation skills, including the ability to interface at all levels and across multiple functions and customer sets.

Active Secret clearance with an investigation within 5 years

Desired Skills:

Experience managing development programs in a concurrent development and production environment.

Proven program or project leadership.

Ability to develop strong relationships with all stakeholders.

Previous experience developing statements of work, program schedules and conducting customer negotiations.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
