Job Summary:
The Role:
To maintain the integrity and cleanliness of Ruoff Music Center through venue repairs, preventative maintenance and groundskeeping.
Job Functions:
-
Keep work areas neat and orderly, clean equipment and assist with other cleaning duties as assigned.
-
Duties include, but are not limited to, pressure washing, fire hosing/washing of the entire venue
-
Assist with venue projects, including but not limited to, painting, construction, building repairs, plumbing and electrical
-
Venue setup, including but not limited to, setup of tables, chairs, tents and bike rack
-
Use a variety of hand and power tools and material handling equipment in performing duties.
-
Detect faulty mechanical, electrical and structural issues, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
-
Groundskeeping including mowing, trimming, weed clean up and trash removal
-
Comply with safety regulations.

Must be highly motivated and able to work independently

Hours may vary during the summer months
-
Position requires you to be able to work during all weather conditions since this is an outside venue.

Position requires physical activity such as walking, standing, climbing stairs and lifting and carrying 50 lbs+ in all weather conditions
