Role Description

  • Support the day-to-day build of emails and targeted audiences across Live Nation UK, Metropolis Music, Download Festival and Palace Bowl Presents. Report on key metrics and lead the weekly testing report to analyse KPIs in order to plan future tests.

Manage the Digital Marketing Assistant:

  • CRM with regular mentoring and reviewing of their builds.

Work with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager:

  • CRM to run weekly data reports and monitor the data flow across all of our business units - deputising for them when needed. You will also support the shared team goal to grow reach, engagement and first party data.

Who you are

Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience

  • Extensive experience in digital marketing: including building emails and audiences, with a clear understanding of the importance of first-party data
  • Ability to manage multiple projects to completion under concurrent, rigorous deadlines
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication skills – written and verbal
  • A love for email marketing – understanding what makes them tick (and click)
  • Detail oriented – immaculate attention to detail
  • Confident and experienced data analyst – demonstrable interest in deriving actionable insights from web analytics
  • Confident in strategic planning to improve future emails
  • Confident in working with multiple teams to deliver actionable results
  • Skilled in presenting regularly on multiple areas of email marketing
  • Previous experience of line management beneficial
  • Skilled at using Microsoft Office
  • Experience using Photoshop, with an eye for visuals
  • Experience with video editing to create GIFs

What the role includes

  • Management: Of the Digital Marketing Assistant – CRM with weekly 121s, mentoring and regular feedback on their work
  • Deputise for the Senior Digital Marketing Manager – CRM when needed
  • Email planning: Working with the Digital Marketing Manager – CRM, suggesting creative ideas for newsletters and audience segments
  • Build: Create emails for multiple business units and review builds for the Digital Marketing Assistant – CRM
  • Design: Tailor emails as required and use design tweaks to improve email performance
  • Data: Build targeted audiences for a variety of shows, tours and festivals across the UK. Working with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager – CRM, run a weekly data report alongside daily data checks to ensure we’re receiving everything we should be
  • Wider tasks: Reporting on email marketing metrics and leading the weekly testing report to identify opportunities and make sure we’re on the pulse of email marketing. Set up multiple email sends every week, paying close attention to the details and audiences we’re sending to.
