Overview
This role is critical for ensuring accurate and efficient demand planning, serving as a bridge between commercial strategy and operational execution. The position aims to maintain a balance between product availability, operational efficiency, and profitability in a highly competitive market. By aligning demand forecasts with business objectives, this role contributes directly to revenue growth, margin optimization, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities

Ensure precise and efficient product demand planning, collaborating with commercial teams and key stakeholders to create a demand plan that meets revenue, margin, and customer service objectives while optimizing distribution capacity and inventory levels.

Develop demand forecasts based on sales history, market trends, and business plans.

Coordinate with sales, marketing, and production teams to integrate campaigns, product launches, and installed capacity.

Lead the S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process, ensuring alignment across departments.

Monitor and optimize inventory levels, reducing obsolescence and stockouts.

Implement and track demand planning KPIs (forecast accuracy, service level, inventory turnover).

Identify supply chain risks and propose contingency plans.

Manage and develop the demand planning team, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required; postgraduate studies in Supply Chain preferred.
Technical Knowledge
-
Strong proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint).

Familiarity with AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.).

Expertise in systems and methodologies such as S&OP Process,Sales Forecasting, and Logistic Network.

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data analysis).

Experience with ERP systems (SAP APO or IBP preferred).

Knowledge of demand planning KPIs and supply chain metrics (Forecast Accuracy, OTIF, Inventory Days of Supply, Excess & Obsolescence).
