As a Machine-Chemical Operator, you will help deliver world-class products to customers that have trusted the Lincoln Electric brand for decades. By ensuring the production and/or packaging of electrodes or other product components, you will help continue to drive a legacy of proven and trusted products that will help build the world’s bridges, skyscrapers, energy pipelines, and more for decades to come.

HERE'S A GLIMPSE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

**The Core Description –**Perform general labor tasks for the production and packaging of products, including placing components or finished products in appropriate bins, mixers, presses or other machinery. Requires the completion of proper labeling and other paperwork related to production and performs quality checks on all assigned work. May perform occasional problem solving or troubleshooting.

**The Day-to-Day –**Work collaboratively with computer-controlled equipment designed for extruding, wire drawing, winding, and packaging materials. Prepare chemical compounds or other components used in the production or assembly process. This may include set-up, operation, monitoring, maintenance, and/or cleaning of equipment. May require mechanical aptitude and spatial ability as well as continuous use of hands including grasping, pushing, and pulling.

Following Best Practices – Strictly adheres to quality standards and frequently reads and follows written work instructions and production specifications (e.g., scales, dials or gauges, charts or tables). Understanding, following and enforcing all risk reduction procedures including wearing specified protective clothing and safety equipment where required.
