Position Summary

Life Time is seeking a motivated student from top hospitality schools across the country, to work collaboratively in our Athletic Country Clubs within multiple in-center departments. Your specific area of focus and rotational experience will be within; Membership Concierge, Facility Operations, Life Cafe (Restaurant), and Club Events. The internship is an opportunity for students to experience delivery of our elevated member experience through multiple lenses, and help apply knowledge of hospitality best practices, while learning from our top leaders.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally with Department Leaders and teams to executive strategies in the core departments
  • Helps improve the overall member experience by demonstrating high-end hospitality and service with members directly
  • Observes behind the scenes systems and processes within scheduling, ordering, and administrative responsibilities
  • Participates in Department Leader meetings for exposure to leadership principles at Life Time
  • Supports overall execution of club events to drive member engagement and provide ideas/insight on areas of improvement

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled as an undergraduate or postgraduate student in a hospitality program
  • Currently maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to engage with member or customers
  • Passion for Life Time’s mission and values
  • Willing to participate in Life Time events and athletic programs
  • Preferred Serv Safe Food Handler & Serv Safe Alcohol Safety or Equivalent

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $17.25 and pays up to $20.50, based on experience and qualifications.
