About the Team
This Team performs complex research, design, and software development assignments within a software functional area or product line, and provides direct input to project plans, schedules, and methodology in the development of cross-functional software products.
About the Role
.
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer who is passionate about building reliable, scalable, and secure applications. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to system design, troubleshoot complex issues, and help improve our development practices and tools.
Responsibilities:
-
Collaborate with technical and non-technical team members to understand requirements and translate them into solutions
-
Participate in design discussions for complex system components
-
Deliver high-quality code and adhere to team standards, including code reviews and best practices
-
Support and enhance Java- and SQL-based systems to meet service-level objectives
-
Investigate and resolve issues identified through security scans or testing
-
Manage changes effectively using shared development repositories
-
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the development lifecycle
-
Follow and support strong security and data privacy practices
-
Communicate project status and updates regularly
-
Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
-
Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
-
5+ years of software engineering experience
-
Experience with Java, J2EE
-
Experience working with Spring Boot, Microservices, and APIs
-
Experience with Angular
-
Strong proficiency in SQL
-
Experience using Git
-
Understanding of configuration management concepts
-
Familiarity with cloud hosting concepts
-
Understanding of OAuth2 patterns
-
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in production environments
-
Ability to contribute to technical specifications and collaborate on system component design
