Software/DevOps/Platform Engineer (Security Tooling & Compliance Automation)
Summary: Develop and maintain tools which automate internal processes, with an initial focus on security and compliance including our internal AnCORE framework, secrets management with Akeyless, and more. Integrate security telemetry and compliance checks into SDLC.
Develop and maintain security automation tools and integrations for the Insurance Core Services team. You will build solutions for secrets management, DLP, compliance, and support secure SDLC practices.
Key Responsibilities:
· Build and enhance Policy/Compliance data pipelines, normalization, and reporting.
· Develop automation for secrets management, DLP, and vulnerability scanning.
· Integrate security and compliance checks into CI/CD and SDLC.
· Support policy definition and automated enforcement (“compliance as code”).
· Collaborate with SREs and Security Engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
· Design and implement security automation tools (Python, Go, Java, or C#)
· Integrate security scanning and compliance tools into CI/CD pipelines
· Develop and maintain secrets management and DLP solutions
· Collaborate with SREs and Security Engineers to automate security controls
· Support GitHub EMU migration and policy-as-code initiatives
Key Skills:
· Software development (Python, Go, Java, or C#), API integrations.
· Experience with security scanning tools (Snyk, Truffle Hog, Qualys).
· Familiarity with SIEM, OTEL, and compliance automation.
· Strong testing, code review, and documentation practices.
· 5+ years in security engineering, operations, or compliance
· Experience with risk analysis, compliance, and governance frameworks
· Familiarity with endpoint security, MFA, and Zero Trust
· Scripting and automation for security processes
· Strong communication and cross-team collaboration
