About the Role

We are looking for a Sr Capital Markets Analyst to join our Marketplace team and support the design, execution, and ongoing management of its capital markets programs. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the development and execution of Lending Club’s capital markets strategy, while supporting and optimizing legacy capital markets products.

You will help drive the scalability of Lending Club’s industry-leading investor marketplace by working closely with external partners, including institutional investors, investment banks, and rating agencies. You will also partner cross-functionally with Finance, Treasury, Legal, Operations, and the Institutional Sales team to support business processes and capital markets initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Work closely with institutional investors to manage funding flows within the certificate programs in the Marketplace
  • Execute transactions closings and coordinate settlements
  • Monitor and report on performance for previously issued deals
  • Provide support in the development of the pricing structures within the certificate programs
  • Assist in the redemptions related to the legacy Lending Club securitizations
  • Conduct market research within the Capital Markets space and identify opportunities to optimize Lending Club’s balance sheet
  • Support planning, development, and execution of new capital markets programs including Bank and Hold Co funding strategies and Marketplace loan sales channels
  • Identify investor-related business challenges and opportunities for improvement and recommend strategic or tactical solutions using supporting analysis

About You

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in Capital Markets, primarily asset-backed securitizations
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field; or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in fintech, consumer lending, banking or financial services
  • Knowledge in Intex, Bloomberg, and Dv01 a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey financial concepts to both internal and external stakeholders
