About the Role

The Wire Operations Associate will execute wire processing, which includes the complete and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing wires, both domestic and international. The Wire Operations Associate is primarily responsible for the manual repair, verification, and controls related to wire transfers. They will follow all controls designed to protect against fraudulent wire activity, Sanctions (OFAC) violations, and unnecessary risk and exposure, and adhere to established deadlines. This position is based in either the Boston, MA or Lehi, UT office.

What You'll Do

  • Daily wire processing (incoming/outgoing, domestic/international)

  • Ticket management and responses related to wire items

  • Engaging with wire support teams to ensure that wires are properly processed, particularly international

  • Support of partnership and other internal stakeholder needs related to wire items

  • Transaction repair and control adherence as related to wire posting.

  • Responding to Department email and fax requests, fielding questions

  • Attending job-related meetings, seminars and training sessions as required

  • Adhering to legal and procedural requirements of duties

  • Ensuring full compliance with Wire related policies and procedures, including but not limited to, Bank Information Security, BSA/AML and Sanctions (OFAC).

  • Must be willing to work banking hours/schedule between (6:00am-4:00pm MST) or (8:00am-6:00pm EST) depending on the location of hire.

About You

  • Minimum 2 years of prior banking experience, preferably in wire transfer or payment operations.

  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and branch/bank policies and procedure, including knowledge of OFAC/AML/BSA preferred

  • Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, as well as internet navigation

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

Work Location

Lehi, UT OR Boston, MA

The above locations are eligible offices for this role. The locations have been determined to foster in-person collaboration with this role’s team or the related business lines. We utilize a hybrid work model, and our teams are in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. In-person attendance is essential for this role’s success, and remote placement will not be considered. Lending Club offers relocation, based on actual job level.
