We are looking for a talented and curious Senior Insurance Product Analyst to join us in creating the most loved car insurance product on the planet.

As a core member of the Insurance Product team, you'll collaborate with our Actuarial, Insurance Operations, and Underwriting experts to ensure we profitably grow Lemonade Car. This role is critical for driving forward our product roadmap and crafting a customer-centric experience that makes insurance fast, simple, and delightful, while monitoring and measuring the progress of key initiatives.

We believe three things matter for every role at Lemonade: drive to push through challenges, efficiency that keeps standards high while moving fast, and adaptability that lets you pivot with data and AI insights. These aren't buzzwords, they're how we actually work.

Our AI-first approach isn't just a tagline either. We're building the future of insurance with AI at the center, and we need people who are genuinely excited to learn and grow alongside these tools.

In this role you’ll

  • Lead analytical initiatives supporting insurance for new and existing car products

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Actuarial, Insurance Operations, and Underwriting—to develop policy coverage, pricing, competitive studies, and eligibility criteria

  • Conduct advanced analyses to inform product feature development, state strategies, and competitive positioning

  • Build and maintain business reports, dashboards, and performance indicators to track core metrics and measure the impact of your work

  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of product changes and state launches, demonstrating success by identifying and addressing opportunities for profitable growth

  • Support QA testing for new features and enhancements to current products, ensuring high-quality, seamless rollouts

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • 3+ years of P&C experience, preferably personal lines

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL for reporting, dashboard creation, and data manipulation

  • B.S. in Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Insurance, or a related field

  • Experience analyzing and interpreting large data sets

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, interpret findings, and make actionable recommendations

  • Strong project and product management skills, with the ability to drive initiatives forward independently

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; collaborative and team-oriented approach

  • Ability to work in a remote environment

  • Enthusiasm about learning and adapting to the exciting world of AI – a commitment to exploring this field is a fundamental part of our culture

Please note that we are unable to sponsor applicants for work visas

Unfortunately, we cannot consider applicants from these states; Colorado, California, Montana, Hawaii, New Mexico and Puerto Rico.

Lemonade's US base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000-$90,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Speak to your recruiter to hear more about the specific salary range for your preferred location.
