We're looking for an Inside Sales Specialist to join Lemonade's first of its kind sales team as a genuine brand ambassador. You'll help customers discover how our products can protect what matters most to them, without the usual insurance sales pushiness.

This isn't about hitting people with hard pitches. You'll take a consultative approach, educate customers about their options, and make sure they get coverage that actually fits their lives.

IN THIS ROLE YOU’LL:

• Provide surprisingly delightful customer service while selling Car, Home, and other insurance products

• Use phone and email to adapt your support style to each customer's unique needs

• Take a consultative approach that lets your personality shine through

• Simplify insurance jargon and help customers understand their protection options

• Be a genuine Lemonade brand ambassador who speaks to our values and app experience

• Optimize your time across callbacks, emails, and various assigned tasks

• Set customers up for long-term success, never coming off as pushy or one size fits all

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• 1-2 years of sales experience a MUST

• P&C insurance license a MUST

• Ability to multitask efficiently across phone, email, and chat channels

• Superb verbal and written communication skills with natural empathy

• Great sense of humor and adaptability when working with different customers

• Excellent time management and self sufficiency

• Commitment to meeting key performance metrics while maintaining quality work

• Passion for delivering incredible customer experiences

• Coachable mindset with openness to try new approaches

• Love for supporting teammates and collaborating effectively

• Responsiveness to updates and communication in Slack channels

• Meeting all minimum thresholds for Key Metrics in our role (Internal Candidates only)

• Ability to work in a remote environment

The hourly rate for this position is $26.44-$27.64 hourly, plus a sales bonus, equity + benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
