Leidos currently has an opening for a Purchasing Coordinator to work in our Ridgecrest California office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping with the AEWTTR mission. In this mission we provide engineering support for design, modification, and maintenance of ground radar and associated devices for the Navy’s Aircrew Electronic Warfare (EW) training capability. Our organization designs, manufactures, integrates, and provides depot level support for a wide variety of EW threat simulation systems that are part of the training infrastructure that ensures our Navy aircrews are the most effective.

Summary:

This position is responsible for supply chain functions, such as material procurement, production planning, and inventory. Duties may include coordinating and integrating the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers**.**Track purchases status and deliveries, along with duties below:

  • Ensure compliance with FAR and DFAR
  • Organize procurement records for audits
  • Track purchase status and delivery schedules
  • Prepare and submit purchase requests
  • Ensure accuracy of pricing , part numbers, and lead times

Basic Qualifications:

Typically requires high school diploma or equivalent and 2-3 years of prior relevant experience.

  • 2+ years of prior experience in material procurement, production planning, and inventory.
  • Ability and willingness to work onsite in Ridgecrest California.
  • Ability and willingness to obtain a DoD Secret clearance in the future. (U.S. Citizenship is required)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with outlook, teams, and excel.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $41,600.00 - $75,200.00
