This internship will provide rotational exposure to IT Asset Management (ITAM) lifecycle operations within a cleared DoD environment. The intern will gain hands-on experience supporting asset accountability, secure inventory management, property disposition (DRMO), hardware fulfillment, and warehouse operations in accordance with DoD, federal, and company security and property management requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the ITAM team in conducting physical and system-based inventories of IT assets within controlled and cleared facilities.
  • Assist with asset reconciliation activities to ensure accountability, accuracy, and compliance with DoD property management regulations.
  • Prepare excess or surplus IT equipment for DRMO disposition in accordance with DoD, federal, and corporate security requirements, including documentation and tracking.
  • Assist with secure hardware request fulfillment, including equipment staging, asset tagging, tracking, and coordination with authorized personnel.
  • Support intake, inspection, labeling, and stocking of IT equipment within controlled warehouse and storage areas.
  • Assist with facility and warehouse organization efforts to maintain audit readiness, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain inventory records, chain-of-custody documentation, and tracking logs in accordance with established procedures.
  • Adhere to all physical security, information security, and property accountability requirements within a cleared environment.
  • Rotate through ITAM functional areas to gain understanding of the full asset lifecycle from receipt and deployment through accountability and disposition.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program (Junior/Senior level preferred).
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and move IT equipment (up to 40 lbs) as required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Interim clearance required to begin.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Familiarity with IT asset management principles, property accountability, or inventory management systems.
  • Experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or technical support environment within a regulated or secure setting.
  • Understanding of DoD property disposition processes or audit readiness requirements.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $41,600.00 - $75,200.00
