Overview:Leidos is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer as part of our DevOps team in support of a large-scale, complex Software program within the Department of Justice. This role will build and maintain the underlying platforms and infrastructure that other teams use to build applications.

Responsibilities:

• Build high-performance CI/CD pipelines and maintain toolchains.
• Has strong knowledge of Github Actions, CI or Jenkins, and also integration security and linting automation tools.
• Perform and optimize software packaging and deployment processes.
• Packaging Mastery: Experts in OCI images, multi-stage builds, and abstraction tools. Build templates that are the starting point for developers.
• Maintain an Internal Developer Portal or Service Catalog for self-service environment provisioning.
• Provide rotational on-call coverage.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust; US Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field with 5 years of experience
• 3+ years of experience in platform engineering or DevOps.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and environment provisioning.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools, containerization, and automation frameworks.
• Understand Openshift down to the control plane, ETCD, CNI, and CSI.
• Have a good understanding software engineering and be able to read code.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with toolchain lifecycle management and environment provisioning.
• Knowledge of secrets management systems and container security standards.
• Experience with IAM governance and compliance evidence collection.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
