The Intelligence Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Lead Finance Manager to work in our Linthicum, MD location. This is an exciting opportunity to support a U.S. Government partner’s financial planning, budgeting, and execution oversight mission. In this role, you will provide analytical insight that enables leadership to make informed, data-driven resource decisions. You will work within a complex federal budgeting environment supporting long-range planning and financial transparency initiatives. This role directly impacts strategic resource allocation and operational effectiveness across enterprise programs.

What you'll be doing:
The Lead Finance Manager conducts comprehensive financial research and analysis on complex budget execution and planning issues. This includes analyzing obligations, burn rates, forecasts, and historical trends using government-provided systems and financial data. Responsibilities include identifying funding gaps, risks, and opportunities while maintaining detailed financial matrices and projection models.
The individual manages financial planning projects from start to finish, developing multi-year resource models and performance metrics. They establish enterprise reporting processes to support leadership decision-making and monitor financial execution throughout the fiscal year. This role involves coordinating with stakeholders, preparing executive briefings, and ensuring compliance with federal financial management standards.
Needed Experience, Skills, and Education:

Bachelor’s degree and 10 or more years of relevant financial management experience. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Experience with federal budget formulation and execution

Experience with planning, budgeting, and execution processes

Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills

Experience using government financial systems

Strong written and oral communication skills

Pay Range:
Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
