Leidos is seeking a driven and experienced Software Engineer to support a high‑stakes, mission‑critical program. In this role, you’ll architect, develop, and integrate advanced AI/ML solutions that shape national security and drive meaningful innovation. Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate and enhance secure AI/ML applications and systems in support of evolving operational environments
• Implement and optimize complex algorithms, including deep learning models
• Debug and optimize software for performance and reliability
• Collaborate in Agile Scrum teams to deliver rapid, high‑quality releases
• Create and maintain system documentation and technical reports

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree)
• 14+ years of software engineering experience supporting programs of similar type and scope
• Proficiency in Python and modern programming languages
• Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph

Desired Qualifications

• AWS experience experience implementing production‑scale AI/ML systems
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud infrastructure management
• Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face)
• Familiarity with generative AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok)

Pay Range $131,300.00 - $237,350.00
