  • Support data collection and analysis to inform event strategy and measure success.

Administrative Support

  • Prepare and maintain event documentation, including soft and hard-copy files, meeting request forms, run-of-shows, budgets, vendor contracts, planning correspondence, attendee/post-event reports, survey results (when applicable), and payments/reconciliations.

  • Assist with general administrative duties such as conference room searches/scheduling, email and planning correspondence, etc.

On-site Support

  • Provide support for meetings and events by participating in on-site attendee registration or badge pick-up, conference room set-up or placement of VIP materials (e.g., Leidos branded notepads, pens, etc.), troubleshooting facility/services issues, etc.

  • Collaborate closely with other members of the Conference Services and Soft-Services team (e.g., Conference Center Manager, AV Technicians, Catering/Flik staff, Facilities Managers, Security personnel, Concierge and Mailroom staff, etc.) to ensure a smooth and successful experience for all participants.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Conference/Event Management, Communications, Hospitality, Tourism, General Business, or a related field.

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Platforms such as Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Knowledge of software systems, such as Cvent and/or Social Tables, is a plus.

  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively and efficiently to a wide range of audiences.

  • U.S. Citizenship required.
