Leidos is seeking a highly experienced Vice President of Growth to lead business development, capture, and strategic growth activities for the Mission Solutions Business Area (MSBA) within the Intelligence Sector. MSBA delivers capabilities across enterprise IT modernization, mission support, intelligence analysis, information operations, and mission software development.
The VP of Growth will be responsible for developing long-term growth strategy, shaping and qualifying opportunities, building customer relationships, driving major captures, and ensuring MSBA’s solutions are innovative, competitive, and aligned to customer mission priorities
Primary Responsibilities
Growth Strategy & Pipeline Development
- Develop and execute the MSBA growth strategy aligned with Intel Sector objectives.
- Build and manage a multi-year pipeline across enterprise IT, mission support, intel analysis, information operations, and mission software portfolios.
- Identify emerging customer needs, market trends, and technology shifts to guide opportunity pursuit.
Business Development & Customer Engagement
- Oversee business development activities including account planning, call plans, customer engagement, and opportunity qualification.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior IC, DoD, and national security customers.
- Partner closely with P&L leaders, solution architects, engineering teams, and program managers to shape differentiated solutions.
- Collaborate with the Leidos CTO organization to integrate innovation, emerging technologies, and advanced architectures into solution development.
Leadership
- Lead major captures, with particular emphasis on enterprise IT modernization opportunities (e.g., multi-cloud integration, ICAM, mission IT modernization, secure software development).
- Oversee captures across mission support, intelligence analysis, and information operations programs.
- Drive effective capture strategies including competitive positioning, teaming, pricing, and proposal execution.
- Develop profitable execution models, ensuring bids reflect strong business cases, sustainable delivery approaches, and margin-aligned pricing strategies.
- Lead captures executed under evolving procurement methods including OTAs, technology demonstrations, prototype-driven acquisitions, and rapid acquisition pathways.
Organizational Leadership
- Lead and mentor a geographically dispersed business development and capture workforce.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
- Ensure integration of innovative tools and technologies that enhance competitive positioning and customer mission impact.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with13+ years.
- Demonstrated success leading growth in national security, intelligence, enterprise IT, information operations, or mission services.
- Proven track record leading and winning complex captures ($100M+)
- Strong understanding of IC and/or DoD missions, customer environments, and acquisition frameworks—including OTAs and other nontraditional procurement pathways.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer engagement skills.
- Experience managing distributed teams in fast-paced environments.
- Active TS/SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with captures involving OTAs, demonstrations, or rapid acquisition models.
- Background in enterprise IT modernization (cloud, ICAM, zero trust, architecture).
- Familiarity with AI/ML-enabled analytic tools or mission platforms supporting intel or IO missions.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $223,800.00 - $360,000.00
